a little more about me

I graduated in 2009 from an intensive four-year honours degree program in graphic design, becoming an expert in fonts, colours and composition. In school, I concentrated on print-based design, but have recently become especially interested in web design. I'm interested in many other areas of fine arts, particularly photography. In fact, most of the photographs in my design pieces are taken by me with my SLR.

I currently work full-time at Revue Design and Communications, located in Belleville, Ontario. I work alongside the senior designer, creating logos, websites, iPad apps, ads, brochures, business cards and other web and print-oriented work.

My past design experiences include interning at a communication design studio in Toronto, where I worked on a number of projects including invitations, slideshows and advertising pieces. I've also been freelancing in Kingston, creating posters, business cards and a magazine cover. Recently, I worked as a contract designer for Burt's Greenhouses, designing a logo, tent cards and their annual newsletter.

My second love is travelling and I have been fortunate to be able to backpack through western Europe, sail along the Exuma Cays in The Bahamas and camp in Newfoundland — to name a few of my trips.

Please don't forget to take a look at my design portfolio.
