My name is Kari Knowles and I'm a graphic designer currently based in Kingston, Ontario. I design logos, websites, iPad apps, ads, brochures, business cards, and other web and print-oriented work for Revue Design Communications. In 2009, I graduated from the York University/Sheridan College Joint Program in Design with a Bachelor of Design Honours Degree. March has been a busy month. I've been learning a lot at Revue Design Communications. Lately, I've been especially busy designing logos and websites. Some of my favourite projects completed this month are a logo for an Italian restaurant and a logo for a furniture company.

Recently, I designed some iPad apps, which is something I've never done prior to working at Revue. There's a limited market for iPad apps right now, but I think they will become a key advertising tool in the near future. I've also been busy designing invitations for my best friend's wedding this summer. It's been an enjoyable process so far and I can't wait to see them printed.

Besides being busy with design, I've also been planning my next adventure. I hope to travel to Norway when I have a chance. I'm particularly interested in visiting the Lofoton Islands, which are located within the Arctic Circle. My last vacation was to Newfoundland in August, and I'm starting to get the travel bug...again.
